Unless you are an experienced SMD assembler & have the appropriate kit then this is not the kit for you! Took around 3-4 hours to assemble, all parts present, a few spares too which is always good. Looks very smart when all together, digits are not visible in bright sunlight but then again would any display be apart from LCD? The assembly instruction are pretty good, well done. However, the operating instructions are damn near incomprehensible, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what the author is banging on about. There are two touch pads, one triangular & the other is circular, apart from that I'm lost! I can see a lot of effort has gone into making this kit & it shows. One bit of advice, the number 8's are particularly fragile, handle with great care.

Arrived ok, very little packing other than the bag they came in. These are made to a price & are NOT top quality but good enough for my purposes. They are NOT full depth (ie they cannot accept a 4mm banan plug completely). Plastic tops do NOT have a metal insert so be careful when tightening, just finger tight is enough. If you are thinking of putting these on a piece of kit where they'll be frequently screwed & unscrewed then spend a little more for better quality/reliability.

Arrived successfully, not well packed but all survived. All tested & worked. Tiny heatsink supplied which you will need to attach with a thermally conductive adhesive like Artic White (other adhesives are available, look)

BG524854283 Inthe appropriate enclosure (transmission line or horn) it possibly could but it lacks the physical surface area to give "basssss".

Arrived intact but only just as packaging was woefully inadequate, had to straighten the speaker frame before I could use it, other than that its a cheap, average speaker.

Good price but plug a shrouded plug into them if you are going to solder to the tag, you'll need a fairly beefy iron to get a quick joint. Other than that all good.

You really couldn't make these yourself for the price! Amazing VFM. They are what they are, a simple audio amp. nothing remarkable about them other than they are ready assembled & can be battery powered. The chip has been around for years, a proven design right from the get go, very pleased.

They are what they are, good enough for general use but don't expect hifi performance at this price, needs an enclosure to get the best from them.

Firstly, there are no instructions but that said it is fairly straightforward to assemble. It's all SMT so previous experience IS almost a requirement as well as a fine tipped soldering iron & steady hand. An illuminated magnifier is advantageous. They do supply more parts than are required, I had four LED's, one 100nF capacitor & two 120R resistors too many. If this is your first kit then you MUST be able to solder fine pitch parts or pick something with through hole parts. Mine worked first time, looks very impressive, very pleased.
