Billthetoolman Sorry, folks. I figured what I was doing wrong and would to explain in case someone else has ran into this problem as I did. The batteries that I thought were good, were not. These batteries were still in the original package, I assumed they would be good. I connected the assembly to a power supply and adjusted the output to 6 volt with a maximum current of 150ma. To my surprise it worked perfectly. I did notice that when the vibrator was active the current draw is 120ma. New batteries
