Q: I want to install a new firmware but missionplanner says this is not the right device

SmileOnion It appears that missionplanner's drm doesn't recognise this as an original product. Try Qgroundcontrol instead; if it doesn't work, you can't use it outside simple racing drone functionality(provided that it is programmed with quad firmware).
