Very clean cuts, the package was also good enough to protect the bit correctly. due to the size of the shank (6,35mm) I decided to take slower passes but that is because of my router mainly.

For the price, I was expecting something flimsy but it is pretty goof, I use it for rough measurements outside but it is quite precise actually.

Quite light but square and the increments are easy to read. mine arrived with a few screws that needed to be tightened but other than that straight edge. Indoor use only for me.

The T and the ruler fits tightly but it was less tight compared to the 300mm. The 500mm only had 1pivot tab against 2 for the 300mm. The color is a bit different more red on the 500 but I don’t mind.

I own one from Empire and wanted another for smaller applications, this one is good enough for what I need it to do. it is less thick but longer than the Empire one. Very effective locking mechanism.

The packaging was well protected with some foam in the cardboard. Markings are easy to read Very precise, it das a tight fit between the ruler and the T base, but in the end Zero regret.
