I purchased this plane for indoor flying I put an 1811 motor on it I had several of these lying around that I was using for experimenting with to sell indoor designs. many people have complained that they were swapped out for the heavier 61 G version of the plane don't let this deter you the material is a very flexible tough foam what looks like a paper outer coating is actually a very tough almost impossible to cut plastic makes for a very tough plane that will last a long time. if you are a relatively confident pilot and want to try 3D this could be a very good entry point. I flew it out doors a couple of days ago + 6 kilometre an hour winds it handled very well and I appreciate it have any extra vertical space that endures does not allow for.

This is great little charger. It uses a USB charging block we all have too many of laying around. It has many of the features of my larger unit I use for RC. Lots of control options, best of all you can mix and match batteries 1- 4 of each size and MAh rating

rwood yes it does, the little wire you see in the picture is the antenna.

I built the GEE BEE last week end. The version I ordered had the motor and servos with the plane. I am an experienced balsa builder, I am gaining more skills with each plane I build. this was my first "kit build" in foam. The foam cutting was excellent, the decal sheet provided a great finish. the decals were a little time consuming, I would like to see them cut with the same precision as the foam and wood parts. i flew it on Wednesday in an indoor soccer field (old hockey arena) I was expecting a slow floater with the tiny prop and control surfaces, NOPE this is an R1 RACER. after a little trimming was very managable in tight quarters. I found the info available online for building advise useful. I would have liked all of the soldering complete for plug and play operation. I did not attach the "wheels" to allow the CG to be placed correctly. i found upon flying the CG called for is a little forward and am moving the battery back in small increments. a great plane for some one with a little building and flying experiece. This is not a plane for a first time flyer

I used this receiver in the GEE BEE everything worked well. There was connector block for the motor wires, so I just soldered then on. I would like to see block for the motor already soldered on with a short to connect a single cell motor.
