It works and looks great! I got it to work on the first pass by being ultra careful with all the solder joints. Check, check and check again. You will want a microscope to deal with soldering all the LEDs. This kit is non-trivial - if you are not experienced building kits like this, you will probably not succeed. This kit has all the usual issues with the instructions: poor English, limited explanations, inconsistencies between the parts and in the instructions, and so on. All the needed parts are in the kit and I eventually figured out everything from the provided materials. This is what makes something like this fun. So if you are up to the challenge, I strongly recommend this kit.

Q: What source of power you need?, the 12 v and 2 A does not work for you. It turns but not enough and the LEDs do not turn on

BG414382024 The instructions say "5V DC". This is on the picture with the red and black wires that go to the power socket (and the motor and the ...). 5V 2A works for me.

Q: The version received is different from the documented version. the kit contains an extra little board. I suspect that it belongs in the square near the L1 connection ?? If so, there are 2 ways to connect it. Please show me how to mount it.

BG414382024 I got it to work with the following orientation: The pins have square and circle symbols on both the main PCB and the little PCB. Line up the squares with the squares and the circles with the circles. Also, the little inductor on the little board is placed closest to the edge of the main PCB.
