BartWestVL It's because of the strip's internal resistance. You can overcome this by connecting both the end and beginning of the strip's wires parallel. (red to red, green to green, etc.)

I was impressed initially until I accidentally ripped one of the strips. Also, I noticed, even with a 250watt power supply connected to the controller that it is brighter near the power supply and less at the end of the strip. I believe that's because of the controller's low gauge wiring as a second strip of the same make after an extender has even brightness along the entire strip.

Q: 3825Watts per pair, at 30v that's 127.5Amps, and at 12v that's 318.75AMPS!!! Are we meant to use suspension bridge cables as wiring for these and large bolts as fuses? What the hell are you guys smoking that makes you think people will believe those specs?! How about you tell the truth, for a change?

BartWestVL I guess they mean the incandescent equivalent. What you would need in old fashion bulbs to get the same light output. I know, very misleading...
