LilB281 The original brushed 550 does get very hot when ran hard. I ended up switching to a 3650 4300kv brushless motor with a 120a ESC, I can now run it for an entire battery using the stock 7.4v 2600mah batteries, and the motor barely gets warm at all. I kept the stock gearing and am really pleased with the results overall, no more worrying about motor heat for now!

pmisun Motor burned after 1st ride. Worth of immediate update to better one with cooling. Not pushed into extreme conditions, all before ride checked. 2 Stars
