Q: I had problems. W 501s advanced and couldn't get any tech support. online or by phone. wouldn't start Motors no matter how many different calibrations I did. company is robbing us and hurting the hobby.

I had a lot of fun making this clock. I discovered the menu by just going through the button combinations and making notes. Mine didn't work immediately, had some errors due to my poor soldering, the temp and light sensors are critical for it to work. The case has a thin plastic coating like cling film, remember to remove this for a beautiful Finnish.

Good product, use a quality SD card for better results. I used a SanDisk Ultra 64gb card, but a 32gb should do.

MR S How good does it work ? Any false alarms ?

This package does not seem to include the smoke and water detector. It is also the UK plug and not EU plug. I struggled to get anything to pair but after opening it up I found that the RF module was not soldered onto the board. After I fixed it worked well for a cheap alarm solution. The door bell is a great extra.

These are a great buy, I've had them in use for 4 months now with no problems. Good bright light with no flicker. The halogen bulbs I was using never lasted long and were expensive to buy. There bulbs have paid for themselves. No hesitation in recommending, one of my best buys on Banggood.

English instructions: Save your phone number on the sim card in the form of +44 for the UK and drop the 0 from the number. It needs this to work properly. Text the command "alm+" add your phone number after the +, this confirms your phone as the operator phone for alarms. Works ok, instructions are not good, battery lasts about a week in PIR mode, has GPS and can listen if you phone it. Other commands are "achk" gives status, "0000" pir mode off, "1111" pir mode on, "safeon" locks your phone number to the alarm. So far alarm works well, I use it for my tool shed in the garden.
