Robert This device is not suitable to leave sitting in the rain, if it is put in some kind of weather protective cover it should be fine outside.

Robert This product can be used for all sorts of control problems. The device is easily programed using a modified Arduino IDE, It will talk to your phone using blue tooth or wifi, It does need an extra PSU as it is built in. The 4 relays make controlling stuff a snap. Some of the pins brought out support I2C. Useful little device.

Robert This product will be fine for outdoor use PROVIDED it is protected from the rain. It has exposed electronics on 4 sides (Top and bottom are closed in) also allow access to plenty of fresh air for sampling. And of course it needs a phone type PSU.

Robert Projector time and main time are the same. I love this clock, I've had several over the years and this is the best. I also like the temperature and humidity (not projected). The sense of the projected time can be changed ie it can be flipped to be upside down or right way up depending on where you put it so it looks right to you.
