Surprisingly quick only 7 days. Easy to setup, just plugin and go. Very happy. Now have to see whether it work on the plants

robbie_dobbie1 ifyou hold the button, it turns it off completely (on the remote i mean). I think yours may have been in "standby" where it's always pinging the the receiver?? My issue with it is that the BEEP sound is too quiet and cannot be adjusted. it s sits on 0

battery does not last long battery goes dead just sitting even when shut off
