Amazing realistic looks, great build quality and performance. Scale, realistic body design, very similar to a Suzuki Jimny, one of my favorite cars. (I own an older model real Jimny) Customisable lighting setup - you can choose from many different lighting settings, with tail lights, reverse lights, indicators, headlights, hazard lights all available and with different settings. Lighting is selected by buttons on the transmitter. Optional light bar on roof plus directly into empty slot on receiver. I do wish the wiring were longer or had some sort of quick disconnect system, as it does make opening the hinged shell up difficult unless you disconnect the wiring. Quality electronics - No cheap ESC and receiver in this car, instead there's a very nice Flysky/Hobbywing setup, with the ESC having a built in controller for the lighting. Transmitter is a nice quality 4AA unit, with a nicely grippy foam wheel. The tx also has a set of 4 little switches on the side, used to select battery type, running mode (fwd/rev with or without brake) and best of all, selectable drag brake directly from the transmitter! (0, 25, 50, 75, 100%) Strong performance on the trails - I purchased this truck mainly for some light trail use, mainly for driving while walking in light bush tracks. It performs excellently for this type of terrain, has good wheel speed for sandy trails and hills, and enough torque to get through some tougher ground. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it to my rock crawling ground that I normally take my Axial Wraith to, it performed very well and could scale a lot of rocks that I expected it to be unable to. Stock tyres are fairly soft and grippy, giving it a good amount of purchase on slippery, steeper rocks. Don't expect this to be a hardcore rock crawler, it would need more ground clearance and torque to be able to cover super rough ground. While it can be surprising just what it can do with some bigger rocks, it is more suited to trail driving. 8.5/10
