Once the unit is on it works great, but turning it on is an issue if the unit has been left turned off for more than fifteen minutes: instead of just pressing the power button for a little over five seconds to turn it on it needs the power button long pressing for five to ten seconds repeatedly over a two to three minute period before it turns on, after this the unit can be turned off with a five second power button press and and turned back on with five second power button press only if it is turned back on within fifteen minutes of being turned of otherwise it is back to multiple long power button presses to power the unit on so there is most likely a design issue with the latching power circuit or possibly a problem with the processor wake-up power supply. I like that it can measure down to 50Hz and it has a battery the lasts about 6 to 7 hours if not connected to a device under test.
