Bought 4 of these to use on an upcoming woodworking bench I plan to make. So far I have only tested the up and down function of one of them from outside the plastic bag it came in and I think it felt like a solid construction. Only time and use will tell for certain. Received the product in a plastic bag that was in a box. As I had ordered multiple items it was placed between the other items and was well protected. The item is excellent and the fit form and function are as you would expect. Would definitely recommend this item and after writing this review i am going to order another couple as I have a portable bench that I can use them on.
