The LEDs are really bright! I use them with an ESP32 and the FastLED.h library (use the "neopixel" config). This works fine with addressing about 23 LEDs but not all 50 LEDs because of interrupts. It's better to use a 4-wire LED chipset when it comes to program the LEDs with an ESP32 or arduino. As I needed only 20 LEDs, I did just cut them, and this simply works. For all beginners like me: every LED has a small IC on it so you can talk to it. Also, this LED-stripe is robust enough to bend and knit it :)
