This light is crazy bright. I got the 6500K Ramping Driver which gives me 3 different Modes I can set. The power button can be fully pushed (clicks), or half pressed. By default the 3 Modes are as follows... Mode 1 - 100% power Mode 2 - 1.5A (maybe 30% power) Mode 3 - Strobe at 100% Power Access the 3 modes as follows (starting off): Full press (click) - Mode 1 1 half press - Mode 1 2 half presses - Mode 2 3 half presses - Mode 3 Note that half presses must be fast. Convoy lights are good as always. Although I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks more for better boxes especially if it's shipping overseas. But otherwise, lights are bright! Good hotspot. Good fit and finish. Excellent product from banggood and convoy!

Inexpensive at $27++ sgd. don't expect it to come In a proper box. lanyard attached with it. got e 5000K version. for the price, and the ramping mode, low and 100% and strobe simple to operate and use tactically. didn't explore the more complicated modes yet. u can ask for too much at this price for a c8+ sst40

This C8 with the SST40 blows the original C8 away! The distance for such a compact light is amazing! From my yard to highway 395 is 3 tenths of a mile, on the other side sits a telephone poll. That's 528 yards and the C8+ lit it up to the point you could see the color of the pole with ease. The look feel and quality matches that of much higher priced torches and the value for what you get is a steal. Now I do not say this lightly because I own a small collection of about 40 torches from many high priced makers. The C8+ is like having a mini L6 that fits into your front pocket. Now with that said the UI is different, not bad just different. You turn it on and the turbo mode shoots a plasma beam of light right off the bat. You double short tap and the low mode comes on and the low mode is still bright. I am still playing around with it but if you are looking for a pocket rocket thrower with great spill quality and looks that wont break the bank then you might want to check out the C8+. Now I need to order the 5000K one to see how it compares with the 6500K torch. Definitely a 5 star flashlight.
