Does not fold automatically! Umbrella opens at the press of a button, umbrella collapses at the press of a button, that is all. The umbrella has to be furled by hand to be secured by a Velcro strap. Easier said than done, especially when wet. Each individual section has to be pleated by hand so as to furl the umbrella... Very disappointing... CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
