As you can see from the pictures, at idle, output is 224V. No problem with that. I ran Metabo 1500W at low speeds since it was 9.30 PM and I live in an apartment building. Voltage dropped to 220V. No problem with that either. When I first started it it started at very low speed than jumped to normal. When I tried to increase the speed, it hesitated first then the speed jumped up. This made me suspicious about the quality of the sine wave. I measured the frequency. As you can see from the pictures. Mustool X1 showed 1.06KHz and sometimes 1.2KHz. Vichy VC99 showed 50Hz at first the jumped to 100 then 150 and 200 Hz, It wondered among those. under load the X1 showed frequencies from 300s to 500s.Hz. Until somebody comes up with scope pictures I will regard the device as modified sine wave, which would be very expensive for a 1100W modified sinewave inverter. Draws around 635mA at idle (no-load) which is 15W that sounds too much for me. I may measure the current and calculate the efficiency under load but too disappointed now, maybe I won't measure at all.

pfeerick It would be worth measuring the efficiency, you may be pleasantly surprised. My giandel 2ke inverters (one modified square, the other pore sine) pull around 0.2A and 0.6A respectively when idle IIRC, thanks for measuring stuff and posting it! :)

lunatictr @mesterzoltan1962 I ran the metabo grinder at no load. So its rated power of 1500W is not reached at all.

lunatictr @pfeerick You may be right. I was expecting it would sense the current draw and at idle it would go to sleep. 15W is not much for these type inverters.
