Q: È disponibile per fimi x***** se anteriore dx

gevraagd door BG170184715 op 2022-02-10 02:36:02

charlesbeantoast I think it should be. Both 2022 arms have an antenna, in addition to the LED leads and the three longer motor wires. The LED leads are long enough to reach the connectors on the 2020 mainboard, and the antenna cable in the front left arm is long enough to reach the single connector on the 2020 mainboard. The 2022 uses 2.4G, but the 2020 and 2018 use 5.8G, but the sleeved dipole antennas look similar for all versions. I haven't read of any signal problems from 2022 front arms being used in the earlier versions.

Q: por qué es incompatible con modelo 2020 ?

gevraagd door jeick648 op 2022-11-07 10:30:48

charlesbeantoast The 2022 uses 2.4G, but the 2018 and 2020 versions use 5.8G. There are sleeved dipole antennas in each 2022 front arm, but to me they look similar to the ones used in the previous versions. I have not heard reports of signal or range problems from 2022 arms fitted to the 2020 version. There should be no such issue with the rear arms, since in all versions they only have the three motor leads.

Q: compatível com fimi x*****

gevraagd door BG111865511 op 2022-06-27 08:45:11

charlesbeantoast If you mean the 2018 version, then it depends... The rear arms will be compatible, but the front arms have LED leads that are too short to reach the rear connectors on the 2018 ESC board, so you would have to extend them - don't throw away the old, broken arms!

charlesbeantoast There is no 2021, but the arms are compatible with the 2020. See my answers to previous questions for more details.

Q: Is it compatible with SE 2020?

gevraagd door BG473810174 op 2022-01-03 07:24:01

charlesbeantoast Yes. The 2020 only has one antenna, which is in the left front arm, but both 2022 front arms have antenna cables. The front arms also have LED leads, and those are long enough to reach the connectors on the 2020 mainboard. The rear arms have only the three shorter motor leads, and those are compatible across all versions of the X8.

charlesbeantoast Both 2022 front arms have an antenna cable, with a sleeved dipole antenna under the leg casing that is glued on under the motor. The antenna cable on the 2022 left arm is long enough to reach the single antenna connector on the 2020 mainboard, but I'm not certain the antenna cable in the right arm is long enough.

charlesbeantoast It should do. The back arms contain only the three motor leads, and those are the same for the 2018, 2020 and 2022 versions. The 2018 front arms also have the LED leads, which in the 2018, run all the way to the back of the ESC board. For the 2020 and 2022 front arms, the LED leads are shorter, since they connect to the front of the mainboard, close to the arm pivots. The 2022 front arms also each have an antenna cable, and the one in the left arm is long enough to connect to the single antenna connector on the 2020 mainboard.

charlesbeantoast You can choose between Mode 1 and Mode 2, but you can't reverse the throttle channel as you can with a regular RC TX. Therefore you have to push the stick forwards to increase throttle or climb, and pulling it downwards will always cause the drone to descend.

charlesbeantoast It shoots in up to 4k30, and has a 12MP sensor. At the present time, however, it shoots variable framerate video, which results in jerky video, especially after editing. We're all hoping Fimi will fix this in a firmware update.

charlesbeantoast There's no internal mechanism to clean the sensor as you might find with an upmarket DSLR camera.

Q: can we buy and extra battery with the drone?

gevraagd door Matziarakis op 2022-02-14 03:43:39

charlesbeantoast Not sure if BG sell them, but you can find them separately on the Fimi store and sometimes AE, probably can't spell out a rival site name here. They generally run to $60-70. You can actually find them on BG, but at $76 there not the most competitive price.

charlesbeantoast It's possible - but it would have to be implemented in a FW update. Therefore so long as you make sure to learn what an update does before you apply it, it might still be possible to have a remote I.D. you can turn off. The bigger problem with the X8 2022 is that it records only variable framerate video, which causes video stuttering, made even worse when you edit the video.

charlesbeantoast No, you have to buy that controller separately, tho it doesn't seem to be available yet. With the RC that comes with it, you need to use a phone or tablet, up to 204mm wide. The FIMI RC remains one of the most ergonomic controllers.
