Sulaco Ok, it's 5A rated. Ok, it took 25Amp unitl burning Maybe it's robust, but since it's a battery charging circuit, maybe it should have current limit circuitry that limit it to 5A max.

works fine for arround 1or 2 days. then a IC on the PCB stood in flames. luckily i have been closeby. failure occures with a current of 25 Amps.
