ariskuhlmann absolutly yes. I built this Motor and esc into my 1:10 Himoto Slash. the space was just enough, I had to scrape some plastic off the mainplate and put the ESC in sideways, but now this car is an absolute blast.

BG533254044 It’s called cogging All brushless motors which don’t have a sensor cable between the motor and esc will do it. It’s normal and not broken. When the motor stops the esc does not know which way the stator is pointing. When the motor rotated again the esc takes a few fractions of a second to figure it out what way the motor is turning and then runs normally. If you want smooth take offs then you need an esc and motor with a sensor. The sensor tell the esc where the motor is in it’s rotation pattern before it starts and the esc doesn’t have to work it out

apricot_of_a_human No please don’t do this I have made this mistake and it burnt my motor if you want to run this battery get a brushless combo or a 2s lipo or you will destroy you car

Grommet This motor esc is fully waterproof,you can use in the water,but do not for long time and watch out to protect your battery
