Q: I am confused.. Is this handle for T13 or T12 tip? In description it is for T13, but in comments people say it is for T12

digitri The move to T13 is definitely a downgrade! Even though t13 tips are shorter they stick out in this handle more than t12 in the previous handle, about 6cm instead of 4. Also, t13 tips are very expensive and there is not a great verity available. I suppose Bakon made this change so people will buy these expensive tips from them. :(

This is an original bakon handle and a t13-K tip. The quality is good, very clean processing. It's a shame Bakon stopped with t12 handle and tips but it's nothing to do with bangGood. :-)

The flux itself is ok, but the declared weight is a lie. This was mentioned before and nothing is done about it. The netto weight of this flux is about 30g and NOT 50g! Another thing is that a metal container is much preferable as this plastic container is of course not heat resistant.

Clear and bright letters. Sometime not visible because facing to the wall on some chargers. My unit the usb plug was mounted slightly crooked, but does not disturb the functioning.

It cleans the tips well without cooling them down. Nice small size to take for out jobs.

Very clear and easy to read big digits. A bit of a problem with some wall chargers when the digits are facing the wall. Due to that and the fact that the usb plug was mounted slightly crooked on my unit, I give the quality and appearance 4 stars.

I prefer this set because of the plastic caps. It enables you to apply pressure when fixing without damaging the elements. The pickups are quite sensitive and all 3 have slight different frequency response which is good because you can consider that when finding the best place to stick them. The unit produces no hum or any noticeable noise when plugged in, which is excellent.

Q: How come it is not grounded? If the ceramic heater breaks the tip can get full 220V and electrocute the user. Is it even legal in Europe?
