dominickjones69 yes the battery it comes with is what the car is fitted for but it has extra holes so you can unscrew and move the one block then re attach for bigger battery. the velcro strap is too small but just get a new one at hobbyshop or walmart etc. its worth the upgrade in power and length of run but motor does end up getting pretty hot but its a pretty rugged motor. ive been doing it for 6months and knock on wood. no surprises
