Great tool, I think this is my best purchase on banggood in last 3 years. Good clamp, really good body it will stay in position, not flimsy. Light is so nice, good coverage proper luminosity, nicely dispersion no glaring. Really happy with purchase. Supply is 5v so it can be used on battery or any phone charger.

First of all, this is a 2A step up with charger and I tested with dummy load, with 1.4A constant load and I switched off when the panel reached the 81C degree... I like frying bacon but not with this module. I also attached the photo of the test.

Its good value for money. It is precise on close range and works well on small size object, not working on really small ICs, forget about SMD components temp :) but for this price its ok.

Pain to solder, use flux or preheat on iron. They can even bend to some degree in arc. Underdrive them to avoid heat problems, they are extremly bright. Will buy again.

Product do as advertised, use it with 18650 to boost V to 12v and drive some led strips. You just need to watch out how much power VxA your battery can deliver. Led strip 1m-60 leds (0.02 A), pulls around 14.4 W, so battery needs to deliver 3.7 x 4A, only really good one can do that. So I recommend using maybe 1m30led, or step up your voltage to 11.6 V so led can draw much less A. Pot is really sensitive, couple of full circles ccw and then really small steps. When you position pot on value you need, put some tape over it so it does not move. I burned couple of them, they move from 11.5 to 12.5 just by moving them from place to place. Led was pulling too much A.

This item maximum range is about 10cm-4inch, not 60cm! No matter where you position pot its from 0-10 cm... maybe usable for some others project but not for mine :( well its cheap it will have some use maybe some day
