Gimpman You need to learn throttle control. No altitude hold is for people who want to really learn how to fly FPV.

i would say for 12 quid not worth it. it struggles to fly. it has no altitude control so it either goes up or falls like a stone very brittle. guard around propellers is lower and does not protect them. i bought this to test. pay an extra 10 quid and buy the 4drc v16 drone.

Great flier, very stable but it only does what it says on the box packaging not what the Banggood webpage says. (Obstacle avoidance, optical flow hovering, motorised camera mount yes, but follow me or trajectory flight - no. Even though the app says it should). If I'm doing something wrong please advise me. The drone pairs to the app well, and then binds to the handset, but from that point onwards

Gimpman I did the the battery mod so I can swap out batteries. I use 220 mah batteries and get 9-10 minutes flight time. Also tried 250 mah battery but don't get any more flight time because of extra weight of battery.

Very good quality rc helicopter, the build quality is robust and not comparable to any of the existing in the market . The only downside is battery which only lasts 5-7 minutes, 2 ways you can tweak it or you can do both : 1. By disabling or disconnecting lights inside the panel which should give extra 5 mins flying time 2. Do a modificaiton and upgrade the battery, lots of videos on YouTube that

Gimpman The volantex sport cub 500 is better.

The best micro Piper Cub derivative I ever flew, comes close to Sonik Sports Cub 500. its a little bit bigger and doesn't have paints that peels off easily on hand take off. a plus, where as the Sonik does. takes off and lands beautifully, needs a little more speed than the Sonik. very stable in the air, flies high. recomnended for casual and serious hobbyists for a little bit of a convenient fun.

Gimpman I have same problem. this drone flies well but fpv camera is garbage. it should of at least had record to SD card.

Gimpman you lucky you get 800 meters. I only get 120m of fpv.

There is no SD card slot. This means that when you lose the wifi signal, the video recording will be frozen, and the recording is stopped. And also, to go till 800 m, you must not have anything between you and the drone or your wifi signal will be lost. Even a simple and small tree will make you lose the signal.
