Q: Is this iron strong enough for soldering 21700 cells? Or should I go for a spot welder?

Andy0679 ideally you spot welder batteries but yes this iron will work fine. it'll be a normal solder of course so be very careful not to short the battery. Also you must be very fast at soldering because too much heat will damage the battery and can create an accident.

Andy0679 it's easy to convert to Mode 1. Just search youtu.be for Jumper t-lite Mode conversion

Q: does it need a barometer flight controller to work ?

Andy0679 no it does not. Combining this with an FC with a baro does help for things like auto hover (position hold) and so on. But it definitely does not require a barometer.

Andy0679 yes. just wire tx to rx and rx to tx from gps to FC. wire red to 5v pad and blk to ground (gnd) pad

Andy0679 yes the radio comes with the adapter that attaches to the back of the radio which allows to mount nano tx

Andy0679 depends. I got a Tmotor F80 and Tekko Metal 65a esc and 7x4 prop on 4s and it did over 145 kmh easily.

Andy0679 none. you can buy only one or the other JP4IN1 or elrs and purchase the other tx as an external mini tx and mount it to the back.
