so, after having a little blast in the car park... Its really well balanced right out the box. its just about fast enough and I'm sure a 3s lipo pack will make it well fast enough, especially if one likes to be able to control the car. there are a few negatives... the controller is a bit basic and the car randomly goes into reverse but won't go into reverse when one wants!? Luckily I accidentally bought two and the second one acts normally as one would expect but the controller could be a bit better. The main issue is that it's not 1/10. It's more 1/12. I feel quite cheated. I wouldn't have gone for it if I'd known it was 1/12. I wanted a 1/10 car and still do as this car is not 1/10, as you can see when next to the 1/10 ftx vantage and next to a 1/14 bodied 1/16 ftx tracer. I still think its a great car at the £84. if you are thinking about getting it, do so but compare to 1/12 cars not 1/10. The car is great quality but the controller is a bit basic. I prefer it to the blinged up wltoys. Good plastic can be better than alloy for a basher as it bends and bends back, not bend and stay bent or snap. It looks great in the flesh, it drives really well, it has a few hits into curbs and took them well without breaking.

Everything arrived safe and it seems like a good build, everything (screws etc) are tight and secure, good packaging also. Will review in-depth when I give it a run.

I got two of these things by accident but don't care, in fact I'm glad. I have not tried it yet but it looks great out the box and the build quality seems excellent not just for the price but full stop. Anyway, looks can be deceiving so let's see how it goes when the batteries are ready...
