This has a really tight, bright, beam on one end and a really impressive flood light on the other. And the flashing red/blue lights might be very handy to have if you want to attract attention. I'm buying another one for my other vehicle.

This is an extremely nice unit. It is far more than just a 'flashlight'. This could easily be a life saver in certain circumstances. The powerful beam reaches a good distance making it a useful tool for search and rescue. The bright flashing Red/Blue would protect you at the side of the road changing a tyre etc, at night.. or even during daylight! I'm sure this must also be a great benefit for campers too. The internal batteries maintain their charge well in storage, which is quite important if your use is infrequent, and the indicator lights on the unit shows battery life as soon as it's switched on. It's light weight but quite rugged. I have purchased many flashlights costing far more than this which didn't give a fraction of the performance of this.
