The rubberband attachment mechanism is a bit too hard to open in order to pull into the light, but once it is mounted, it is very secure. The light pattern spreads out veru quickly. In the photo the light is about 40 cm from the wall and is all ready mostly diffused. Good for other to see out, not very good for light op the road ahead. Run time is also good, not sure of the exact number, but many hours.
