This is a very bright light in any of its settings. I can be seen and see what's ahead of me. I would suggest that the solar part is not very good. Left it out in full sunshine 8 hours a day for a week and it did not charge (hence four stars only). Easy to charge with USB cable though. Easy to get on and off a bike with its simple clip. Would recommend to make sure you are visible to all drivers and pedestrians.
