This cut off switch will be very handy in Spring and Fall or when ever the Summer car will not be used for a long period . . . it will be much simpler when it is time to disconnect the battery when ever it is needed to prevent it from unnecessary discharge that shorten the battery life . This is just what I needed for the side terminal battery in my Corvette. I had installed an aftermarket device that draws a few more milliamps than it should and my battery was running down. I'll fix it when the warm weather arrives, but in the meantime, this switch solves my problem. As others have noted the bolt is a little short, but it was easy to find another in my toolbox that was a few millimeters longer. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. Shipping was FAST. It arrived less than 2 weeks after I placed my order, and was packaged well.

on the batterie that used it with the bolt was too short ,not a problem for me ,but be aware that you may need to tweek it .
