Today my 8-year old daughter and I put it together. The instructions are in chinese but the photos are clear enough for everyone to understand. A great educational toy, you can explain steam power and electrical power with it. It runs for only a short while each time (appr 1 minute). We had a great time!

My son and I really liked building this engine together. The manual has clear pictures for building, despite being all in Chinese. Used Google Translate on smartphone to read the manual in English. Anyway the engine works very well and there's a lot to learn from this. Combustion to Steam to Mechanical motion to Electrical power. Worth the money, I think. Putting too much water inside will take a long time to boil. Don't make the wick too long or you get a lot of soot buildup. Have Fun!!
