It is a nice working demonstration gadget, magnetic bearing are performing nice, yet they are not enough sturdy to prevent motor dislocation when running at at certain speed (minor mass misalignment in the motor, quite normal for this), so in order to run constantly with varying light exposure i am arranging a small copper loop to prevent excessive out of axsis motion. It is very good in order to show young people about low friction and about energy trnsmitted by light. Bright light required or direct bright sunlight. It is quite worth the money

This working levitation motor driven by solar power works great even in bright lite indoors. works best (fast speed rotation in sun). I set it up with battery powered bright leds and it has good rotational speed for school show and tell projects and on my desk at work, everybody talks about and ask questions how it works, Good Job Banggood.

Mine arrived in the mail and it looked great! Went to set it up and it never rotated. Even let my child try to get it working, still never rotated. Now it just sits that for the kids to manually spin. :(
