Not as good picture quality product as I expected. On the internet I looked at several videos made with the Split V2, and they looked very good, colour saturated and sharp. But This unit has a lot of noise in the picture, a bit reddish artefacts in the picture. It looks like a cheap cmos cam, and that is not what I expected. I have a HawkEye Firefly Q6 which has a lot better picture quality and almost 10 bucks cheaper. And also the Slip V2 runs pretty hot too. Also a point for improvement is the remote control, it needs a pulse to switch on and again to switch off different functions. That means that you can't tell when you are in the air if the camera is in recording mode or if it's switched off. When you are not viewing the camera feed you could switch off the camera entirely without knowing it. I would like to see the remote control method selectable built in in the firmware. So edge switching and continuous (high=on and low=off) as options selectable in the firmware. What I like is the good quality of the pcb and soldering, the layout and the large supply voltage range up to 17Volts. The cables, an electrolytic capacitor for filtering the supply voltage, mounting stuff like screws, standoffs, brackets and cover for the lens and that the firmware can be updated are a plus.
