I purchased this top in 4x, which gave me at least 5" extra around the middle. Still doesn't fit right. This top is shaped straight up and down not a-shape or swing style. Because of the cotton fabric, there is no stretch, so it really needs that extra swing in the body shape. Anyway, it seems a lot shorter because it's shorter in front as described, but because of the rigid design, there is no give for a bulging belly. I gave them to a friend. It is a pretty color and seems well made. I like the lightweight cotton gauze fabric. Just needs a more comfortable fit for me.
