Bought this because I needed more and the price was right! To my surprise its just one long strip with what appears to be a thick backing tape for mounting. It's double lock so you don't need 2 sides like regular velcro. The double lock is more solid and has or gives the same performance as velcro does. All in all I'm pleased and should last me for more than a few planes as I only use it to mount vtx's or rx's
