It's cheap and plastic, but still works fine --- there's quite a lot of distortion, but I wasn't expecting anything else. (My Nexus 5X has a camera bulge which may have made things worse.) The clip's not particularly firm but it does work; keeping it aligned properly is tricky. Pictures with and without, just taken out of an office window, are attached.
