This 720P HD web cam looks very good detail on PC. It did register 2 types of video to select from. The stand is flexible for laptop or other items you may choose to hang camera from. In particular the ability to do manual focus is import for my needs. Combine the HD of 720P and ability to set focus to optimize the distance of target is great. It would be interesting when I get time to try with RBPI 3 also. I need to keep eye on 3D printer mischief.

Seems like a nice camera. It steams MJPG so I get low usb-bus utilization. Using it with my Raspberry Pi 4 and mjpg-streamer. In comparing side by side with an older Logitech C250, the C250 gives better night timeimages while the HXSJ gives better daytime images. This is with default settings so perhaps adjusting settings will make a difference.

For the price this is a great camera. I like the fact that I can manually focus it, gives sharper images than the fixed lens cameras. Works great with linux and all video call programs : Kopete, Skype, Viber, Whatsapp, etc.
