The parcel arrived earlier than the tracking information showed. The paper box on the excavator shows that a rechargeable battery pack is being added (picture 8). But this is not true. Requires 3 pieces of 1.5 V batteries (see picture 7). I also tried Ni-Mh batteries. The excavator barely moved. But with a single 1850 Li-Ion battery, it does its job perfectly. Unfortunately, it also has a flaw because one of the "caterpillar-belt" is large, easily falling off. I will fix this in the coming days.

Best birthday gift for a 6 years old! He is happy with it. Note! No batteries included. Package states comes with rechargeable battery, there isn't. There seems to be two versions. One with a steering wheel style controller and another with a gamepad style. Ours came with a gamepad style.
