The uppers of these shoes are as soft and comfortable as advertised however standing in them is another story! This is due to the fact that the dimpled sole tread design carries thru to the inside of the shoe and is only cushioned by a thin insole liner. This shoe is not comfortable to stand on without additional lining. I added more cushioning by cutting out a bubble package as shown below and now wear them very comfortably.
