Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. The over-arch strap is velcro and can be loosened, but the rest of the fabric is not elastic, so definitely use the pull tabs to put the sandal on. Also, for sure use their measuring guide--it's accurate. I measured my feet and added 1/2 inch to anticipate the undersizing of "Asian feet," and guess what? the sandals are 1/2 inch longer that what I expected (lol!). Well, we live and learn. The insoles look like they can be removed for replacing, though I haven't tried that yet. Thank you! Now I can finally throw away my old worn out sandals.
