The pen is clearly built with the classic Mont Blanc Mesiterstück in mind. Barrel, cap, nib and size are close to the Meisterstück 146. It all looks and feels solid. It writes really fluidly and nice. Unlike other Chinese pens the nib has a bit flex. So, when you put some pressure on the nib, the line gets wider. An extra classic feature. Two issues: the click that snaps the cap to the pen is too hefty. It is difficult to uncap the pen, and very noisy. The cap is really heavy, and doesn't post well on the back of the pen. So - if you are used to put the cap on the backend of the pen this one isn't yours. Bottomline: It looks the part and it writes much better then anticipated, and that is what matters.
