These are very much a small toy for use only in calm weather. Due to their size they won't handle flowing water or water that's rippling heavily due to high wind. For their size and what they are they are ok, nothing remarkable at this level. Turning is achieved by spinning one prop faster than the other. The rudder on the boat is not moved by the control but can be moved by hand to either make it turn constantly in circles or to trim out any variation when going straight. Reasonable time. Boat does not auto right if turned upside down by hitting something, by waves or if you go too crazy and roll it. Great if you have a swimming pool or a garden pond. Too fast for in the bathtub!!
