Build quality is good for the price. The battery holder does not fit a protected 18650 cell. It holds the battery in place and provides a solid fix for your DIY projects. Unlike other holders the battery does not come out easily which is a big plus. I tested the wires and connections with my UNI-T multimeter and on a LED light, it works just as I expected. The leads have about 3mm of wire exposed. They were perfect for my projects, I will definitely order more. Great purchase and very inexpensive.

Battery compartment flexes to let battery slide in or to be removed. It doesn't have a death grip on the battery but it also won't let it just fall out either. Wire length is just a little bit longer than a common popsicle stick.
