Excellent for Small Solar Projects. Continuous Out Put Voltage, CC , CV with Battery Low Voltage Protection. Wish I could find a 20A or 30A unit performing the same tasks. These units perform some what as a Poor Mans MPPT. You do realize a bit of Current Gain via over Voltage Buck Down to Working Voltage ( Set Out Put Voltage ) . When Source Voltage is less then Working Voltage ( Set Out Put Voltage ) your able to obtain limited Charging current . Better then NOTHING, eaaaa? Again Looking

Really like this little board. I am impressed with the stability of the output. I also like that despite there being no back feed protection on the output side, there does not appear to be any appreciable voltage leak back into the board. It would be really good if the board was also offered with the three potentiometers on fly leads so the board can be mounted in a project enclosure with the pots adjustable remotely.
Nice build quality. Output voltage is easy to set. Simply use a multimeter on the output and adjust the potentiometer. Over current is not that simple: I needed to drive a load and measure the current. Lucky me, my electronic load did that for me. Other devices allow to short the output with a multimeter. Under voltage input is easy again, simply set the voltage you want on the input and adjust the potentiometer again. All in all, a nice device and very efficient according to Julian Ilett videos.
Worked well. Screw Terminals are very small and will only accept small wires. I would advise extra cooling when load is greater than 65 watts Typical overall efficiency was around 95% for inputs between 11 and 26 volts and output between 12 and 15 volts, with load from 1 to 4.5 amps.
