I'm sure its been mentioned in many other reviews, but these welders don't actually do 250A. There is a fuse inside marked 160A, so the max output is somewhere below that. They do work great, it would be better if the manufacturer honestly labelled them and set the digital scale to match the output. On an earlier purchase, the PCB had a potentiometer that allowed me to change the display scale, but this one doesn't seem to.
