Great holding power. Bought some for my boys so that they could try magnet fishing. Be careful letting two snap together, as the magnet breaks. It doesn't fall out though, as the holding power holds it safely inside the mount.

Great high-powered magnet for magnet fishing for my boys.

this has good holding power. Maybe not quite the kg rating listed but still is a very good magnet. I have used to make a level gauge for a fuel tank. This sits inside and fastens to the bottom of the steel tank and allows a flexible wire attached to a float to show the amount of fuel stil in the tank

This magnet sticks lightly to a fridge, or other thin alloy metal appliance, and is easily removed. However, when stuck to an iron post, it is very hard to remove. It requires a hefty pull with two hands. So, I would say the 55 kg. force is no exaggeration. I must get more of these.
