There are some pros and cons for this radio. It is a DumboRC 6-channel, and of course the price is good. But this radio is actually 10 - 15 $ more expensive than the other DumboRC 6ch radios. The receiver that comes with it does NOT have a gyro (at least mine), it is the type of receiver with extra-pins on one side and without receiver box. You can buy this receiver for about 10 bucks, so you could buy a different model of Dumbo 6ch radio, with receiver, and buy this LED-control receiver additionally (it also includes LEDs). The X6P has two push buttons for ch 5 and 6, which can not be programmed. The servos move only 38°, so very short servo way if controlled by those buttons. This can be fine for shift servos. But it is NOT possible to control receiver switches or winchcontroller with those channels 5 and 6. The signal is not sufficient to switch those. I tested 4 (!!!) different rx-on/off switches and a winch controller. None of those work on channel 5 or 6, all work perfectly on ch. 3 push button on the radio handle. The radio comes with 4 pairs of LEDs, white, red and blue (???? for turning lights? Why blue?). There are two "light modes", which can be changed by a push button on the receiver. First light mode: LED-ch 1 is controlled on/off by the 3-position switch of the radio. Ch 3 push button controls hazard lights on/off. Turning lights work when turning the steering wheel. LED ch2 switches light on when going throttle reverse (so this is no brake light, but a reverse light). Light mode 2: Everything works as in mode 1 described, but LED ch2. In light mode 2 LED ch2 is on, when the throttle is forward, so the light will burn when going forward, and be off, when 0 throttle or reverse. Ch. 3 push button and Ch 4 3-position switch are occupied by light control. Ch.3 and 4 work in parallel for LED- and servo function. More details in the video section! overall a great transmitter. very fast delivery - highly impressed. unfortunately the white LED’s were missing. don’t know how to contact the supplier?? transmitter used for my RocHobby 1/6 crawler. fantastic control with all the steering and accelerator settings. very happy with my purchase.
