The drill bit seems high quality it's really sharp out of the box and I was able to start a center on some high carbon steel with ease. My only complaint is that it could have come in better packaging infact it was just thrown in with my other products. it's so small well the one I ordered that I almost through the packaging away with it still inside either than that it's a great tool.

these are much better than some cheaper ones i got from aliexpress that broke as soon as they touched the job. i drilled steel and they cut well with a great surface finish. the package arrived in two weeks.

The center drills I received have good tip geometry and drill easy enough into mild steel. They are labeled HSS Co. The cobalt should give them a reasonable durability in harder metals.
