These punched tape fed music boxes are a truly wonderful item I guess most folks that buy them will want to know about tone and other such musical properties and so far I've no complaints in this area but I bought mine as a teaching aid the punch tape system is very similar to old style computer punch tape and due to this and the way that each hole equals a definitive outcome one can use this to explain the principles behind digital computer memory storage... 8 bits to a byte etc...
